Start of our 2nd full week out here in Singapore, and we were back to our least favourite school, Tanglin.
After the hassle we had last week trying to get the kids under control, we weren't exactly excited about the session, as we thought we'd have the same kids. Thankfully, we were placed elsewhere. I was helping out with a group of 3 year olds, while Dan was with Mo with the under 6's, much to his delight(!). My kids were absolutely adorable. The session only lasted around half an hour but it was so fun just playing with them. They didn't do much, as it was a really hot day, but they focused on finding out what dribbling is, and shooting into the goal. It was a decent session, and I really enjoyed it.
After my session with the under 3's finished, both Dan and I went over to help Norm out with his under 10's. While Norm was getting ready, we organised a quick warm up with the kids, where they dribble around, and we call out a number. Each number we call out means they have to do a different command. It went quite well in my opinion. We managed to get them up to 7 numbers which was quite impressive, too. After our warm up was over, Norm got them sorted into a match. Usually they have drills before, but the weather was looking horrible, so Norm just did a match as, if the weather suddenly turned bad, then the kids wouldn't have had a match for 2 weeks. Weather was fine, though, so the kids ended up getting an extended match, which was decent. These kids weren't as bad as the kids from last week. They weren't exactly good, but they were better than last week.
That was us done for the day, so we headed home to chill out. Got a session at UWCSEA at 6pm tomorrow, so we're both aiming to stay up to watch the Arsenal game, which kicks off at 3am our time. We better win.
