Today we had 2 sessions booked in, one at Dulwich, and one at UWCSEA.
We met Daymon at the bus stop at around 1:45pm, and got the bus to Dulwich, where we had the same kids as we had last week. We started off with a simple warm up, where they dribbled around in the area, then moved onto passing through cone gates, which they did really well, to be fair. After that we got them straight into teams and played a quick match before the session was over.
After Dulwich was done, we hopped on the bus, and headed to UWCSEA. I was meant to be with Norm, and Dan with Fook, with both of us having under 14 groups. But Fook called in sick, and there wasn't that many under 14's that turned up, so we all merged together, and it was me, Dan, Norm and Simon, who covered for Fook. Norm took the warm up, Dan did a passing session he had planned. Afterwards, Simon took a mini-match session, and I finished off with a game called Over the Bar, which is a bit like cricket, where I feed the ball in, they shoot at goal, and the "fielders" behind the goal can catch them out. After my session, Norm split the group into teams, and we played 2 big games. All in all, it was a pretty good session.
After that was all done, we headed home, got some dinner and chilled out for a bit. Later on, as we prepared to watch the Barcelona - Bayern game, Dan felt like he "worked hard and deserved a midnight McDonalds". Thankfully, over here in Singapore, McDonalds do deliveries, so we placed an order and munched it all down. Quality.
Tomorrow we have our final session at UWCSEA this week, where both Dan and I take on a group each, and have to do a whole 2 hour session with our respective groups. Happy days!
